The Grainger Foundation has committed $1 million to support SAIC’s College Arts Access Program (CAAP). CAAP, inaugurated in fall of 2014, is a three-year college bridge program in partnership with Chicago Public Schools that provides artistically talented, low-income high school students with the opportunity to study at SAIC. The Grainger Foundation’s contribution ensures that scholarships are provided to cover program tuition and fees, art supplies, transportation fees, and meal costs.
