Katie Molinengo is originally from Pennsylvania. Her focus is in Painting and Drawing and has earned a BFA from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Her work encompasses the metaphysical, culture, thought processes, structures, and experiences through many layers of the given medium. She then layers these works in order to represent the singular moment belonging to a series of experiences that coexist within a larger space of time. While working intuitively, surprises are welcomed and contemplation on how events align takes place mentally and then is executed on the surface of the material.
