The world of Little Miss Blue is an exploration of identity and experiences with loneliness framed through early 1960s aesthetics, whimsical arrangements, and synthetic kitschy-ness.Through tearful eyes, bouquets of daisies, and green voids, Watkins aims to capture the viewer in a confrontation of how loneliness really feels through senses of nostalgia and comfort, pairing awkwardness with familiarity.
