In What the Moon Confesses to Ocean’s Skin, Danielle Wakin (BFA 2014) stages a dark and erotic dreamscape mirroring an infinite sphere of primal thought. Rhythmically positioned works and text create a circular pattern of anxious thoughts, transforming the gallery from a physical space into a cognitive sphere for reflection. Using the creative process as its framework, the exhibition positions private psychological investigation as a communal experience.
