Exhibition Statement as Preserved in the SUGS/SITE Archives:

The first year students in the Master of Designed Objects program at SAIC are beginning to feel at ease in the studio. Making Home represents their natural next step in putting the design process into practice beyond the classroom. The works shown are the result of two journeys: navigating new territory – materials, equipment, and company – as well as defining new behavious and objects for 21st century living.
