Exhibition Statement as Preserved in the SUGS/SITE Archives:

Daniel Greenfeld and Jeff Holmes confront the viewer with various visual and audial patterns referencing both natural and artificial systems in their video exhibition, “Metaught: IThought.” The exhibition considers ideas concerning human growth and development, pattern recognition, learning through repetition, and exploring both inherent and imposed patterns which human being are either born with or earn. As viewers engage in the space they become aware of and question the projected information.
