Open space draws attention to natural forms otherwise unrecognizable. This conception of minimalism has been taken up across aesthetic disicplines, including the literature of Ralph Waldo Emerson, from which this exhibition draws inspiration. But what is the nature, and what is the nature of man’s interaction with it? Natura Naturata, or nature natured, asks thse questions and indulges in the “plain pleasures, kindly and native to us.” (Emerson)
