Exhibition Statement as Preserved in the SUGS/SITE Archives:

Following a two-week sojourn to Prague this past January, a group of SAIC students present this exhibition of work inspired by their experiences in this culturally rich metropolis. With the wind of history at its back, Prague is moving at the forefront of artistic advancements in Europe, sharing its treasured muses with people from around the world. Shown will be works in a variety of media by Pam Bagdzinski, Luzviminda Calo, Amanda Lynn Granek, Hanan Harcol, Christine E. Hart, Kelly Jackson, Matt Joy and Dena Lyons. This exhibition is part of a two show series in Gallery X focusing on the international exchange opportunities fostered by SAIC. Be sure to visit the sister exhibit of work by visiting English and French students: “Two Blokes et la Minette: This Side of the Pond” at Gallery X, open April 24 – May 5.
