Exhibition Statement as Preserved in the SUGS/SITE Archives:

The artificial heart, a death-metal fan base and an exhaustive meltdown of Rodin’s “Thinker” suggests an effort to alter the constant order of the subconscious. Similarly, an investigation of the sublime, through the process of landscape painting, presents the opportunity for therapeutic reconciliation. Rebirther surveys scientific advancement, ritual initiation, art therapy, and possession all under the context of having provided a new existence or a surrogate of the past.
