Exhibition Statement as Preserved in the INCUBATOR Archives:

Ingress–to enter–in the context of this exhibition alludes to a cycle of discovering and entering into new versions of oneself. This series of works looks inward through the exploration of tarot and the subconscious, exploring duality and bearing in mind binaries in sexuality, gender and nation. Inspired by the symbology of the Rider-Waite Tarot and the artist’s dreams, Ingress conjures her own subconscious world, tracing a journey of healing through spiritual practice and community.
