SITE Galleries is hosting an open call for work to be shown as part of a group exhibition curated by the SITE Directors. The exhibition will take place this Fall semester in SITE’s Sharp Gallery from October 28th – December 4th.

The SITE call for work is without theme. Artists can submit up to 10 images or 5 minutes of video documentation. Artists may submit multiple works. We encourage you to submit images of work in full as well as detailed shots.

We invite you to articulate why the work you propose is of interest to you and to what discourses and conversations it seeks to contribute. Both new and existing works are welcome, from any and all members of our community of student artists and scholars. Submissions may be for solo work or collaborative work. All mediums are encouraged. We welcome in progress works; but please include renderings/drawings and plans for finishing the work.

The SITE Directors may be reaching out to artists prior to the Sept. 11th deadline for follow up discussion and studio visits. We encourage applicants to consider submitting before September if possible.

This application is open to students currently enrolled at SAIC and recent alumni (within the last 5 years), including all departments and programs, both undergraduate and graduate. Work will be selected by the SITE Directors.
