My name is Jason Boulware and I’m an African American visual artist based in Chicago working in documentary and experimental documentary formats. Influenced by 1990’s hip hop culture, the policing of low-income neighborhoods, and police brutality my work is a mixture of intimate profiles and examinations of forces that effect my community.
