In my art there is no fixed meaning or point of view but multiple points of view. I focus on the check literally as a visual tool but also theoretically to examine what happens before and after the check mark is written. The check’s significance can be personal or cultural; conscious or unconscious; figurative or conceptual. These units are isolated in order to allow insight and inquiry into multiple viabilities, an exploration of what the check might be in new sequences.
