SAIC Board of Governors members Ellen Sandor (MFA 1975, HON 2014) and Richard Sandor have pledged more than $1 million for merit-based scholarships. The Ellen Sandor Scholarships are granted to graduate students in the departments of Art and Technology Studies and Film, Video, New Media, and Animation to support them throughout the duration of their studies. The Sandors established the Ellen Sandor Scholarships in 2013 to help attract the strongest graduate candidates from across the country. Ellen Sandor is also the Chair of SAIC’s Gene Siskel Film Center Advisory Board.
