Holly Hunt has given $1 million to establish the HOLLY HUNT Graduate Merit Fellowships. Hunt is a member of SAIC’s Board of Governors, serving as co-chair of the Campaign Steering Committee and as a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. She is the founder and CEO of HOLLY HUNT Enterprises, Inc., a successful interior design and distribution firm of interior furnishings to the interior design trade that was acquired by Knoll, Inc., in 2014.
On May 6, 2016, the campaign was launched at SAIC’s 150th Anniversary Gala, where more than 400 attendees contributed toward the more than $1.2 million raised for the Walter and Shirley Massey Chicago Scholarship Fund.
SAIC received a $3 million gift from Angela and George Paterakis (Parry) and the George Parry Trust to support the Angela Gregory Paterakis Professorship and a new endowed scholarship.
The Grainger Foundation has committed $1 million to support SAIC’s College Arts Access Program (CAAP).
